KS4 (GCSE) Summer 2012
It's GCSE Results day and students and staff at St. Mark's have been nervously awating the results. And we have not been disappointed!
- 54% of students achieved 5 A*-C Grades including the key subjects English and Maths, an increase of 11% on last year's results.
- 88% of students achieved 5 A*-C Grades, while 93% of students achieved at least 5 'Pass' grades.
- 63% of students achieved at least a 'C' Grade in English.
- 69% of students achieved at least a 'C' Grade in Mathematics.
- 4% of students achieved the English Baccalaureate.
- 76% of students made expected progress in English between KS2 - KS4.
- 74% of students made expected progress in Mathematics between KS2 - KS4.
It is wonderful to see so much progress in our school when across the country, GCSE results have dropped for the first time in history: we know this is due to our teachers' dedication and hard work, and our students' ambition and determination.
